Information you post in public areas of the site or placed in the searchable CV database will be accessed, used, and stored solely by Direct Staff UK in the course of our business as an Employment Agency and Employment Business.
We strive to provide a safe, secure environment by limiting access to our database to legitimate users which are Direct Staff UK’s own staff.
We use the information you provide to us to enable us to provide the work seeking services we offer, and to operate and improve our website. We may at times use your information to contact you about website updates, send you our candidate newsletter, conduct surveys, or to send you information on the services provided by Direct Staff UK. We do not pass on or sell our data to other parties. If given, we will pass your CV on to a Recruitment Consultant and at this point a new Privacy Policy will be required.

The Right to be Forgotten
You have the right to be forgotten, to request this simply log into your account and click the right to be forgotten button. If you request this we will delete your personal information within 30 days, but will retain logs, demographic and statistical information about you and keep an anonomised archival copy of your information for analytical purposes only.
Subject access requests
Within the GDPR framework, you can make a subject access request (SARs) at any time – i.e. request to see your data that we hold. Simply go to your profile and click the subject access request button, we will comply with your request within 30 days.
The right to data portability
You can login to the candidate dashboard and download your data as a .csv file.
Removing consent
If you change your mind about receiving communications from Direct Staff UK, you may change your preferences by logging into your profile where you will be able to make the necessary changes by un-ticking the consent boxes.
